【Introduction to the School of Paper and Plant Resources Engineering】
※【History】
The predecessor of the college can be traced back to the secondary school specializing in the pulp and paper project created in 1958; the undergraduate program was established in 1978; the master's degree program was established in 1998; after continuous development in 2014, it has been renamed so far, and is the most advanced in Qilu University of Technology (Shandong Academy of Sciences). One of the colleges with features and advantages.

It has two undergraduate majors in lightening engineering (pulp and paper engineering direction) and forestry chemical industry; has a first-level discipline in light industry technology and engineering, pulping and papermaking engineering, and master's degree conferment of secondary science in papermaking biotechnology.

Established two departments of pulp and paper and forestry chemicals; analysis and testing center of management schools; establishment of plant resources chemical engineering and wood fiber-based functional materials, bio-based functional materials, pulp and paper and biomass refining green chemistry, wet-end chemistry and Papermaking chemicals, functional paper and equipment 5 institutes.

There are more than 60 full-time and part-time teachers in the College, among which 85% are Ph.D. candidates; 50% have overseas experience; 75% have advanced professional and technical positions; 6 are doctoral supervisors, and 30 are supervisors of master students; Specially-appointed professor of Taishan scholars, young experts of Taishan scholars, national candidates for the new century talents project, young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions from the country and Shandong Province, special allowances from the State Council, teachers of the province, outstanding teachers of the province, provincial advantages Qing and other groups of experts who have a certain influence at home and abroad. The lightening engineering major is a state-level speciality specialty, Shandong province has a high-level application-oriented project construction specialty, a state-level fine-quality course for pulp and papermaking technology, and nearly 10 provincial-level teaching achievements. More than 20 provincial and ministerial level scientific research awards have been obtained, including 4 national awards for scientific and technological achievements.
