From October 23rd to 26th, 2016, Prof. Wang Zhaojiang of our hospital visited Spain to participate in the first International Conference on Biomass Resources Technology (BIORESTEC 2016) and gave a title entitled Separation of high-value oligosaccharides from lignocellulose prehydrolyzate to upgrade dissolving pulp mill into biorefinery platform. The report had extensive exchanges with participants on technologies for the use of biomass resources. From October 27th to 28th, he visited the wood and paper chemistry laboratory of Åbo Akademi University in Finland, where he exchanged ideas with the heads of the laboratory, Prof. Stefan Willfor and Prof. Xu Chunlin, on the academic exchange of biomass functional materials.
