Our Institute and the Department of Commerce of the People's Republic of China jointly undertake the training of cleaner production technologies for pulp and paper in developing countries in 2014


 

Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and co-sponsored by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province and Qilu University of Technology, the 2014 Training Program for Pulp and Paper Cleaner Production Technologies in Developing Countries lasted nearly 40 days and ended on September 27, 2014. Seventeen participants from 9 countries including Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, and Malawi participated in the course, and most of the trainees worked in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Industry, or the management of papermaking companies. This course aims to raise the level of papermaking technology in the third world countries, expand the cooperation space between the papermaking industry and China, and seek international cooperation opportunities for papermaking companies in China.
    The backbone course of the training course was selected by 11 excellent teachers selected by the School of Paper and Plant Resources, Qilu University of Technology. Each of the instructors has a background in overseas learning and is taught in English. It includes 23 theoretical courses, 5 experimental courses, and 2 key laboratories. Visiting practical courses and seven corporate inspections and practical courses, successively inspected Sun Paper Co., Ltd., Luxin Paper Machinery Co., Ltd., China Resources Paper Co., Ltd., Henglian Paper, Hengan Life Paper Co., Ltd., and Huatai Paper Co., Ltd. Kaixin Paper Machinery Co., Ltd.
    This training course is conducive to the branding of papermaking specialty in our school, training teachers' ability in English teaching, enhancing the overall image and international influence of the school, and accumulating valuable experience for similar training tasks in the future, which has laid a good foundation.
    The joint training has also received a high degree of responsibility from the responsible staff of the Department of Commerce, and the relevant leaders have given high evaluations. We plan to strengthen our cooperation with us in the future and expand the enrollment scale of papermaking training in developing countries around the world. Such training The activities are conducive to raising the level of papermaking technology in the third world countries and opening up international development space for papermaking enterprises in China.
